While my gardens sleep under their blanket of snow, I am still inspired to create Sterling Clay leaves!
I only have two indoor plants at the moment- a large coleus I dug up last fall and a small primrose from my local market. Thought I might try another type of leaf to imbed in the clay. Inspiration struck as I was eating my spinach salad! Why should flowers have all the fun?
My latest batch of Sterling Clay leaves
I am very excited to be one of many local artists at Lockwood’s September Saturdays.
Each Saturday, local artisans, not for profits & vendors will be joining the community of Lockwood’s Greenhouses to offer specials on plants and handmade garden inspired art!
I will be there on the second Saturday, 9/11 from 9-4.

My next show featuring my handmade fused glass jewelry and gifts:
Saturday October 1 11 – 6 Falkner Park, Youngstown, NY
A relatively new event – the third annual Youngstown Arts and Music Festival – takes over Falkner Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. Sponsored by a number of local businesses, with support coming both from the Youngstown Business and Professional Association and the Village of Youngstown, this family-friendly affair will offer a number of activities – from musical performances to arts and crafts, wine and beer offerings, foods, children’s activities, even a farmer’s market.
And all at no cost to attend. –

Stopping by the Elmwood Art Festival this weekend?
I will be in the
Unitarian Church at Elmwood and Ferry along with many other local artisans! Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 11-5.
I am thrilled to introduce my newest gift item just in time for my final summer shows!
These sturdy stainless steel wine stoppers are perfect for housewarming, shower, and holiday gifting!
They can be purchased individually or as sets and I will have them available at my next show:
Uucb Arts & Craft Show on August 27 and 28 in Buffalo (alongside Elmwood Art Festival)
Special thanks to my friend Peter at Laser Engraved Designs, LLC, for helping with my logo engraving.
What a wonderful weekend at both
Glen Park Art Festival and A Taste of Clarence/Cruise Night!
I am exhausted (but in the best sense!) and excited to work on new ideas for jewelry and pottery to roll out for end of the summer and fall events!
Have to thank so many for making these past 3 days so memorable- could not have survived these busy shows without my amazing daughter Vicki, and my very generous helpers Elizabeth and Carol!
The dedicated event volunteers deserve special recognition and, of course, we artisans would not exist without the many faithful patrons and visitors.
Times like these remind me why I chose my business name- because I am truly
Over the Buffalo Moon….
