Reviving Vintage Sterling

It’s no secret that one of the best ways to showcase vintage and antique Sterling jewelry is to simply give it a thorough cleaning!

I have been diving headlong into the Rs this past year and plan on continuing this joyful journey for awhile. My Rs include repairing, restoring, and re-purposing Sterling.

Adding my personal touch to these neglected (yet brilliantly designed) pieces gives me tremendous pleasure and sense of accomplishment.  I adore the sheer weight and impeccable quality these solid beauties possess!

These gorgeous Danecraft, Beau, and Jewelart Sterling items were created to be cherished, worn, and passed on through the generations.  My hope is to share them with others, so they too, can appreciate these fine pieces of metallic art.

But first, they need a bath!

PS: My first shows of the year are in March- full spring schedule available soon!

What’s old is new again!

For awhile now I have been collecting vintage Sterling jewelry pieces to re-purpose into new designs. Pins and earrings become rings or pendants. Some need a bit of work -grinding off the old broken pin from a brooch or removing the screw back earring findings and smoothing the back. Sometimes I add my handmade fused glass to the new piece just for a bit of sparkle.  And everything gets a bath!!
