I will be among many local artisans at the Glen Park Art Festival on Saturday July 26 & Sunday July 27 in Williamsville, NY.

I am in my favorite usual spot in the Rock Street parking lot, near North Cayuga Road (#69.)

My booth will feature lots of handmade & restored vintage jewelry- many new fun creations including handmade freshwater pearls, handmade vintage bead & crystal necklaces, vintage broken china jewelry, handmade pottery pendants with kiln-fired transfer ware, and much more!

More fun with vintage Sterling…

I found this very interesting (and substantial) vintage Sterling cuff bracelet online. I was a bit disappointed when I received it. Although it wasn’t terribly expensive, considering the solid Sterling is 5.75 inches long and over an inch wide, I didn’t care for the color of the stone and noticed the setting was incorrectly soldered and crooked! 

So thanks to my trusty bench grinder and favorite ball-peen hammer, I was able to transform and create a distinct new piece.  A touch more polishing and it’s good to go!!

What a wonderful weekend at both Glen Park Art Festival and A Taste of Clarence/Cruise Night!

I am exhausted (but in the  best sense!) and excited to work on new ideas for jewelry and pottery to roll out for end of the summer and fall events!

Have to thank so many for making these past 3 days so memorable- could not have survived these busy shows without my amazing daughter Vicki, and my very generous helpers Elizabeth and Carol!

The dedicated event volunteers deserve special recognition and, of course, we artisans would not exist without the many faithful patrons and visitors.

Times like these remind me why I chose my business name- because I am truly Over the Buffalo Moon….
