My next two shows:

Busy getting ready for these two fundraisers designing and fusing glass for jewelry and my stainless steel bottle stoppers.
I begin by cutting and adding layers of fusable glass, heating them in my kiln to 1500 degrees. Once the glass has cooled, I grind it to shape and return it to the kiln to fire polish the rough edges. Then the fun begins as I attach the new glass to their settings (this is where I find out how accurate I have ground the glass!)

Experimenting with black and white glass

Ready to grind (some pieces require more grinding than others!)

Time to fire polish those grinding marks away!

Fire polishing to 1350 degrees

YAY- the glass pieces fit! (I made 25 new glass stoppers today!)

Black and white and Over the Buffalo Moon!
I am in process of scheduling my fall and holiday shows at lots of exciting new venues!
Very excited to share my new fused glass wine stoppers paired with my exclusive Over the Buffalo Moon stoppers. Both are heavy duty stainless steel and very sturdy!
Great with a bottle of wine from one of many fine local wineries!
$20 each or $35 for the boxed set

Stopping by the Elmwood Art Festival this weekend?
I will be in the Unitarian Church at Elmwood and Ferry along with many other local artisans! Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 11-5.

I am thrilled to introduce my newest gift item just in time for my final summer shows!
These sturdy stainless steel wine stoppers are perfect for housewarming, shower, and holiday gifting!
They can be purchased individually or as sets and I will have them available at my next show: Uucb Arts & Craft Show on August 27 and 28 in Buffalo (alongside Elmwood Art Festival)

Special thanks to my friend Peter at Laser Engraved Designs, LLC, for helping with my logo engraving. www.LaserEngravedDesigns.com
What a wonderful weekend at both Glen Park Art Festival and A Taste of Clarence/Cruise Night!
I am exhausted (but in the best sense!) and excited to work on new ideas for jewelry and pottery to roll out for end of the summer and fall events!
Have to thank so many for making these past 3 days so memorable- could not have survived these busy shows without my amazing daughter Vicki, and my very generous helpers Elizabeth and Carol!
The dedicated event volunteers deserve special recognition and, of course, we artisans would not exist without the many faithful patrons and visitors.
Times like these remind me why I chose my business name- because I am truly Over the Buffalo Moon….
Busy making many new fused glass jewelry pieces for both shows!
Also lots of new raku pottery pieces for Clarence including these horse hair pots and leaves…

If you are out and about this summer, I hope you can join me and several other local artisans!
