Old copper bracelet gets a makeover!
Lately I have been having fun experimenting with metals- specifically copper. I found a very sweet, well-worn vintage copper bracelet at a rummage sale yesterday and played with it a bit to give it some new texture and patina!

Weekend Show!
My first art event of 2016 is happening Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5 in Clarence, NY- I will showcase my one-of-a-kind fused glass jewelry and my decorative raku and horse hair pottery. Prices range from $10 to $50.

Stained Glass Brightens the Winter Day
I recently took a slight detour from fused glass jewelry and decorative pottery to begin working on stained glass. Nothing extremely ambitious yet, as I am honing my soldering skills. Yesterday I created a simple indoor/outdoor sun catcher held together with twine and Lake Ontario driftwood. Although it needs a bit of tweaking, I feel inspired to create more of these!
Today I went to a local treasure, Sunshine Glassworks, to browse their vast selection of stained and fusable glass. Ahh...this new glass reminds me of bountiful spring gardens and crystal blue summer lakes on a grayish winter day!
